Welcome to the Biker Dictionary. This collection has been put together over the last few short years that I've been into motorcycling. Keep in mind, I'm a UMJ / Cafe Racer type of guy, so there's probably more of that here than anything else.

I figure I should be upfront with my audience. I love bikes. This Jargon File is completely a labor of love. However, I am also using it as an experiment. I want to know if a non-obnoxious web site can support itself. I have good content and non-obtrusive ads. This site will never have pop-ups, pop-unders, graphics of any sort, in-line advertisements, fake content link advertisements, autoreloading to maximize ad rotation, or anything else like that. As a matter of fact, if the Google ads don't do well, I'll probably pull them off altogether as well.

That said, I hope you enjoy the site. It is a work in progress. 'A' is done. All of the rest are still in progress. I'll update this paragraph as things change.
