| False Neutral: | - When you miss a shift and it feels like you're in neutral between any gear other than 1 and 2, you've found a false neutral. This is a bad thing as you've got gear dogs spinning within sub-millimeter clearances of each other just waiting for a chance to shave off each others edges.

| Flat Spot: | - An area of the POwer band where there isn't so much power
- Notched Bearings

| Four Stroke: | - Most common street Motorcycle engines use a four stroke cycle. This means that at the start of the cycle, the piston is at the top of the cylinder and the intake Valve is open. As the piston moves down, Air and fuel are drawn into the cylinder. As the piston reaches the bottom of its travel, the intake valve closes. As the piston moves back up, it compressed the fuel air mixture. As the piston once again approaches top dead center, the Spark Plug fires, igniting the fuel air mixture. This explosion pushes the piston back down. When the piston reaches the bottom of the cylinder, the exhast valve opens. As the piston moves back up, the exhaust is pushed out. When the piston reaches top dead center, the cycle repeats.
