Nighthawk:
  1. Arguably the perfect starter bike. With the Nighthawk, Honda found a practically perfect balance of style, durability, and economy. As of 2007, you can still pick up a CB450SC in good to excellent condition, for well under $1000 and expect it to get you 80mpg forever without any unscheduled maintenance.

Notched Bearings:
  1. Ball bearings and Roller Bearings can get worn spots on them that are felt easily. These are known as notches or Flat Spots.

Notchy Shifting:
  1. A feeling as if there are notches you have to move the shifter past in order to make a complete transition from one gear to the next. Usually, if you stop on one of the notches, you'll find a False Neutral
